The Respectful Relationships, Rights and Resilience is about creating a safe, supportive and inclusive school community where every student feels valued. Our four R’s curriculum aims at building breadth and depth in personal and social learning capabilities to enrich the understanding of respect, empathy, fairness and resilience. Through carefully constructed lessons, we unpack and scaffold qualities, values and skillsets in order to help students to develop and foster positive relationships and equality.
These values are embedded in our whole-school celebration and awareness weeks, where we come together as a school community to recognise diversity, promote and propel inclusion, equity and equality. Through carefully designed teaching and learning opportunities, students develop important skills in respect, inclusion, resilience and positive relationships. These experiences help them make meaningful connections between self, others and the wider community, grow their confidence, strengthen their friendships and become caring, respectful members of our school and broader community.
Through annual celebrations and meaningful repeated experiences, students are supported within their zone of proximal development to deepen their learning. These celebration and awareness weeks play a vital role in challenging stereotypes, fostering understanding, and empowering students to embrace equality, equity and inclusivity
