Camps
The Camping program is a highly valued component of the school curriculum.
Camps are fun and inclusive and are developed to include a range of educational activities which help each child to develop their independence in self care and personal learning. Students benefit from the opportunity to transfer their skills in a variety of contexts.
Students have the opportunity to attend a number of different camps throughout their schooling that could include an overnight sleepover at the school through to a student planned interstate camp as part of the Foundation Level Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning, VCAL, program.
Camps include:
- Blackwood Outdoor Education Centre – The School, The Residence, Tent Shelter
- Bogong Outdoor Education Centre
- Bike Camps – The Super Ride and the Alpine Ride
- Year 12 Interstate Trip
All camps are approved by School Council and the Principal and Interstate Camps are also approved by the Department of Education.
